Dasko is a family company that was founded in 1913 by the grandfather of the current owner, Bertus Dasselaar.
Already in 1913, Albertus Dasselar started running the Dasvee company in Vriezenveen. Originally, the company was engaged in the transport of live pigs and cattle. Back then, transport was still done by horse-drawn carriage.
The first car was purchased in the late 1930s. In the 1950s, the car fleet was expanded and the number of employees increased. Under the leadership of Jan Dasselaar, in 1970 the next step in the company's development was taken: transport abroad. Thanks to this, the company grew rapidly.
Due to repeated animal disease epidemics in the late 1990s, Bertus Dasselaar ceased its cattle transport business. The company underwent a successful metamorphosis and moved into refrigerated transport.
Over the years, the Dasko Group has become an international employer for over 750 employees in 3 countries. Dasko has 180 teams of transport vehicles, is a reliable supplier of logistics services and a trend-setting company.
